My client is a leading Japanese Investment Bank , who are currently building out their IT Infrastructure team in London and require a UNIX Systems Administrator to join. The IT Infrastructure team covers all Infrastructure IT areas including Wintel, Help Desk, Trading Floor Support, IT Operations, Networks, Voice, Market Data, UNIX, Databases, Storage Support, and SWIFT Services. The role will involve providing UNIX System Administration and Technical Support, with responsibility for the delivery of reliable, highly available and high performance environments. Install, configure, monitor, upgrade, and troubleshoot all Storage and UNIX Environments. Also, to conduct Performance Monitoring / Tuning and Capacity Monitoring / Planning, and providing Storage Support capability for SAN based storage on UNIX servers using EMC and Veritas tools.
