My Client is a Major Investment Bank who are currently looking for a senior C++ developer to join their front office Fixed Income technology group within their London Offices. This hire coincides with the current project (a Martini / APEX migration) which supports the front office Repo, Rates and Equity Trading Desks. it will also be responsible for handling other desks in the area of FX and Commodities - so this hire will directly affect a number of business within the bank and will be a major project for the year.
This is the chance to be part of a small team working on a large migration project, so the successful candidate will have the oportunity to be stamp his / her mark on the project and take on more responsibility than they usually would within a larger team. As well as supporting the current business, you will be required to drive the business forward by working closely with the global teams on upgrading from Martini to Apex and will act as the technical manager on any further projects.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and updating new and existing processes, reports and feeds Liaising with internal teams and colleagues for requirement definitions Integration and system testing of developments Supporting UAT and go live phases The provision of clear and concise documentation for support and audit purposes Coaching colleagues and internal teams with specific knowledge as required
You will have:
Experience of SunGard’s Martini and its C++ Server API An excellent understanding of fixed income repo trading and equity SBL trading Strong experience managing projects, including some budgetary and reporting responsibilities Experience of SunGard Apex and Ion Trading Marketview desirable
